WE ARE VISIONARY

Kensema Investments aims to be the greatest profit-making commercial entity in South Sudan and the Horn of Africa in general by satisfying 75% of the total market demand for petroleum products.

Kensema Investments Limited is a multi-faceted organization operating in a diversity of business fields and industries. We initially specialized in the provision of soft financial consulting services in the Republic of Uganda, but we have since diversified into the industrial, manufacturing, hotel and hospitality, construction, and property sectors, amongst others. Our investments are targeted at, but not limited to, infrastructure, property-related, diversified industrials, transport, energy, services, manufacturing, and financial services-related industries. We seek to invest in high-yielding economic sectors in our sphere of operations, especially in South Sudan and Uganda, with attractive growth prospects, leading market positions, and the ability to generate superior returns. Kensema Investments Limited is committed to transformation and empowerment; thus, executive management comprises largely local citizens both in Uganda and South Sudan.

Raymond Banyanga Banyanga
QS and Projects Director

Raymond Banyanga is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years of professional experience in the construction and real estate sectors. Born on June 16, 1962, in Uganda, he holds an MSc in Project Management from the University of Liverpool, an MBA in Construction & Real Estate from the University of Reading, and several other qualifications in surveying and project management.

Raymond is a Fellow of the Institution of Surveyors of Uganda and a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (UK). He has extensive experience in contract management, cost estimation, construction risk analysis, and project delivery across various high-profile projects in Uganda and beyond.

His work has spanned multiple sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and hospitality, where he has consistently provided expert advice on financial management, contract administration, and sustainability practices.

Peter Sekweyama
Compliance Manager

Peter Sekweyama is a seasoned Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional with over five years of practical experience in EHS management systems, including ISO standards development and implementation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Makerere University Business School and has earned various certifications in occupational health and safety, hazardous substances management, and general safety awareness.

Peter has worked with several reputable organizations, such as Wigem Petroleum Limited and Powerworld Technical Services Ltd, where he played a pivotal role in developing and implementing EHS management systems. His expertise extends to conducting risk assessments, safety training, and incident investigations, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and fostering a strong safety culture within organizations.

Currently, Peter serves as the Health Safety and Environmental Supervisor at Powerworld Technical Services Ltd, contributing to significant projects like the construction of government seed secondary schools in Mbale, Uganda.

Stella Kiwanuka

Stella Kiwanuka is an accomplished Senior HR Manager and Director with extensive international experience in Human Resources strategy, performance, and growth. Holding a BA (Hons) and multiple professional certifications, including CIPD, IRP, and ITOL, Stella has led HR functions for diverse organizations across the UK and Africa, including Uganda, Rwanda, Cameroon, and Nigeria. She has a proven track record of driving strategic HR initiatives, managing complex change processes, and structuring companies for growth.

Stella's expertise spans international HR management, organizational development, governance, compliance, and talent management. She has successfully transitioned start-up entities into thriving organizations by implementing effective HR strategies, aligning them with local and international market requirements. Currently, as the Director of HR Hub Consultancy in Kampala, Stella continues to deliver HR services and training programs, shaping corporate identities and improving organizational performance. Her leadership has significantly impacted the companies she has served, fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence.
